This site is designed for parents and students who are enrolled in music class for grades 6-9 at the Queen City Stem Secondary School. Under the teachings of Mr. Jonathan D. Lilly student will learn the basics of music reading, notation, and musical performance skills. This class will also incorporate music appreciation and history to give students a diverse and comprehensive music experience. All About Me
Mr. J. Lilly
Mr. Lilly is a graduate of North Carolina A&T and Winston Salem State University where he marched for the Blue and Gold Marching Machine and the Red Sea of Sound. Mr. Lilly has four years of experience teaching music on the middle and high school level in inner city schools in Memphis Tennessee. Mr. Lilly comes with passion, excitement, and a love of music that will have students engaged and excited about participating in music. Mr. Lilly hold memberships in Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Music Fraternity and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America. Mr. Lilly is an accomplished composer and arranger. His music has been played from middle school musicians to collegiate musicians. In this class your students will experience music in ways they have never imagined.
